Job Description



-Provide functional and configuration expertise in support of SAP ERP and related applications

with focus on the Sales & Distribution module (including Logistics Execution), including

interfaces, outputs and output control. A strong understanding of integration with other

modules (FI, MM, PP, QM) is required. Good understanding of Europe VAT processes is


-Provide scope and direction to other team members (3rd party developers) by providing clear

and concise requirements as well as coordinating development efforts (e.g. interfaces, custom

reports, output changes, etc.)

-Performs SAP‐related troubleshooting and collaborates with user community to investigate &

resolve business process and data issues.

-Coordinates and actively participates in all stages of project development including research,

design, documentation, configuration, testing, data conversions, and implementation using

ASAP methodology.

-Identifies and develops opportunities to standardize processes, integrate multiple

business/regulatory requirements, and extend information availability within SAP.

-Supports developing and sharing of best practices within the local organization.

-Seeks to cross‐train others and self on additional SAP modules as directed in order to provide

back‐up support of assigned areas of responsibilities.

-Participates in System Unit and Integration testing.

-Establishes relevant Super User networks across the businesses while working closely with other

Super User networks to ensure strong coordination of initiatives.

-Leverages the capability and knowledge of Super Users to recommend and develop value

creating ERP and related applications solutions, as well as to assist change management.

-Assists with SAP user training development, documentation and delivery.

-Provides users with tools and support to allow them to effectively and accurately manage and

retrieve data.

– Ensures that reporting and management information requirements are being met by the

appropriate systems through a process of user education and report development.


Technical skills:


-Understands highly complex technical aspects of role and performs work without supervision.

-General business process background, with solid understanding of relevant SAP module.

-Experience in working with, and/or supporting SAP and related applications systems with a

good understanding of the configuration and technical aspects of the relevant SAP module(s).

-Experience with implementation of new SAP functionality.

-Good English communication skills (both written and verbal).

-Able to diagnose and solve technical or process issues, evaluate impact on business, and provide

alternative solutions as required.

-Able to interpret business requirements and develop functional/technical scope and

specification documents

This is a Fixed term contract. 12 months paying £50,000/year
