3rd Line Support Engineer – Basingstoke

3rd Line Support Engineer – Basingstoke – £200 – 3 months

Your role will involve direct technical support for all of services as part of the 3rd Line Team. You will act as a point of escalation for live technical queries, to help support the technical lead. You will also be tasked with highlighting project concerns with the 4th Line/Engineering teams, working together to swift resolve issues.

Your Experience

The types of activities to be undertaken are:

    • In – depth documentation reviews
    • Supporting technical responses to major IT infrastructure projects
    • Network Monitoring
    • Working in Secured environments
    • Supporting sites in Situ and Remotely

Specific Requirements

  • Experience of DHCP, DNS, WINS
  • CCNA Level Accreditation
  • Working knowledge of routing, switching, Firewalling and virtual networking/SDN
  • Understanding of change processes
