Senior Technical Support Engineer – Manchester – £300 – 5 months

What will you be doing?

The Senior Technical Support Engineer is responsible for leading the effective support of provisioning, installation/configuration and application services across Mobile Data services, IOT Devices and associated technologies & products.

Ensure daily scheduled preventive maintenance take place, as well as supporting any requests for reactive maintenance by the Technical Service Desk Team.

To act as a Subject Matter expert across the IOT product range, support training and guide support engineers as required

Who are we looking for?

To be successful in role you will need to demonstrate the following key skills:

  • Experience in analysing information, understanding and identifying problems /trends to enable implementation of the necessary course of action to achieve the desired outcome
  • Linux & Windows systems
  • Comprehensive knowledge of network LAN’s, WAN’s
  • VMWare system administration familiarity
  • Routine maintenance – Key skills
  • Drive application performance – Key skills
  • Wireless & Mobile technologies – Advantageous
  • Subscriber identity module – Advantageous
  • Team management experience – Advantageous
  • Kubernetes – Advantageous
