It monitors file system activities and helps answer questions such as who is using the data, who owns the data and who has access to the data. DI gives full visibility into data access, which helps drive security remediation and compliance efforts. Developed a close relationship with Symantec to troubleshoot problems and suggestion enhancements that LBG would need for completion of the project. I implemented the route to live environment for DI v4.0. This involved decommissioning of old DI system then commissioning new servers for DI infrastructure, load balancing the existing servers and managing the SAN storage for the DI system. Creating packages forWindows and Sharepoint servers so the latest Data Insight releases can be delivered to the server estate via Tivoli.
