Focal point for Development, ALM and DevOps Tooling including Team Foundation Server, JiraBamboo, Bitbucket, Artifactory, hosting weekly training sessions on ALM to help development teams keeping up to date. The infrastructure size is non-trivial, e.g. TFS counted 600 users and 800 GB ofTFS data, and he managed four successful upgrades in less than a year, using Powershell to script most of the workWorking close with distributed development teams to find solution for their needs, he ensures that the underlying central infrastructure meets the needs of all stakeholders and is deployed, maintained and secured following the best practicesHe also worked on performance testing for Miss Universe 2016 site and APIs, both running on AWSHe leveraged Azure Cloud-based load testing to guarantee the sustainability of target goal; even if, during the main event, the peak load reached 40,000 RPS, the systems were able to handle itAlso, he implemented in Powershell a number of scheduled scripts to automate data synchronization between the custom HR system and Active Directory, streamlining personnel on-boarding and offboarding

follows is a selection of projects: a longer list (over 100 projects and more than 80 customers) is available on request
Eurizon Capital, Milano (ITA) – Sector Finance, Years 2013
Architectural review of customer’s application platform (mostly C# and C++) for 64bit migration; review of their development and release process.
Intesa SanPaolo, Vicenza – Sector Finance, Years 2012-3
Architectural review of the Teller platform, specifically the integration of .NET modules, with an emphasis on performance.
ENEL, Venice (ITA) – Sector Utility, Years 2007-2013
ENEL undertook a major journey to cut operative costs automating the processes for field technical personnel. This initiative, called WorkForce Management, based on mobile and custom technology, was extremely successful. The SMiLE team implemented the user applications running on Windows rugged handhelds and tablets, the supporting web site and services and integration with back-end systems. He helped this team over some years, in designing and implementing such applications for best scalability and performance, spanning lots of different technologies, languages and architectural patterns.
ING Belgium, Bruxelles (BEL) – Sector Finance, Year 2011
He joined a project at ING Bank in Belgium to help them transform their business strategy from a purely on-street retail bank to a multi-channel integrated bank. The strategic choice had been made to move their public-facing website and internet-banking platform to SharePoint architecture. For five months, he worked with local colleagues and client’s own team to define and implement a SharePoint software factory. His responsibility was to apply specialist ALM knowledge and .NET experience to improve the quality and efficiency of the customer’s development and test processes. This included specifying and implementing the new processes and software and building an automated software test harness using Team Foundation Server so that higher quality software could be achieved at a lower cost.
DnB NOR, Oslo (NOR) – Sector Finance, Years 2009-10
DnB NOR choose Microsoft BizTalk to build a new Business Process Management (BPM) platform able to sustain a quicker turnaround and promptly respond to a changing market. Microsoft Consulting Norway looked abroad for some experts to join in and having the project succeed, and indeed it has been recognized as an outstanding result, both internally at Corporation level and by the customer. He joined the project team since inception as the build master, but it turned designing and implementing the whole ALM process supporting the agile Scrum methodology and delivering to the customer a fully automated delivery pipeline using TFS and Powershell (see Sprinkler). The bank’s outsourcer EDB (now Evry) was surprised by the ease of use of the tools and the simple hand-off.
He stayed in Oslo for fourteen months for the first major release, after 7 months, two minor releases and transferring the know-how to the bank and its partners EDB and Avanade.
