Save the Children
At Save the Children I worked as part of a multi skill, multi platform team, working on the development and improvement of existing corporate systems. This included development work in a variety of frameworks including Drupal, Wordpress, Yii and Zend 1.
While working for catch I was responsible for developing the technical approach to a major ticketing system. Additionally I worked on a number of major client sites in the health and beauty and charity sectors.
As the primary backend developer I worked on the creation of a large and complex multilingual, multidomain site for the mobile phone company Lebara.
As a backend developer for Brightpearl I was responsible for the development of a number of new features and maintenance on the existing Drupal based website. My role was a mix of new bespoke development and bug fixing in a high traffic, heavily cached (via Varnish) system.
My role for Scottish Television included new development work in a codeigniter environment. Working as a part of the Business as Usual team.

My role included developing custom modules and templates for PaulMcCartnetney.com using Drupal, integrating with 3rd party api systems and migration of an existing joomla site. I worked closely in a team of 2 back end developers and 1 front end developer, my work included a custom drupal module to integrate with SoundCloud to pull track lists into
Drupal a create nodes within the system via a batch job.
My role for Octance centred around the development of a social media style site using
Joomla with the JomSocial 3 rd party component.
For Blue Sheep I was involved in developing a business to business marketing tool in
Zend with ExtJs.
The Unipro Group
For the Unipro Group I developed a number of websites for their main client Pfizer, including the Italian version of their Multicentrum vitamin range. These were developed in drupal environment often using a Jenkins build process
My work with Unipro included a great deal of custom theming and module development, including ajax based forms, custom templates and hook implementations.

I was working on the website for the BBC tv show Cash in the Attic. This was built on a drupal platform interfacing with a bespoke media platform. My role was in the development of the back end interface for the expert users to value the items uploaded to the site, this involved SOAP based integration with the media platform and online PDF generation.
