Formalised my Web Development service by creating Spark Development Ltd. Since the company’s formation I have been involved in a number of freelance and contract projects, detailed below.

Made layout changes to their news/blog site (WordPress) and also wrote a plugin which would dynamically recreate a post as a PDF, preserving layout including text flow and picture positioning, along with custom headers/footers.

Taking over from the previous developer, I was the lead developer, developing their unique social fashion website concept. The site used a heavily customised WordPress codebase, including a hand-coded HTML5 theme based on PSDs, e-commerce (including heavy customisation of WooCommerce templates and functions), gamification and social network integration. All site images were hosted on AWS to improve loading times and reduce latency. I also provided SEO/performance optimisation, server configuration (Linux) and general troubleshooting services.

Coded two landing pages for an in-house Facebook app.
