I worked as a consultant mainly in SQL and Big Data technologies and wrote courses to be delivered in USA, Canada, UK and the rest of the world. During this time I travelled worldwide in America, Asia, Europe and Africa.
Using advanced SQL, SSIS, C# and other scripting techniques I migrated the entire SQL Server farm from a data centre in London to mirror it at a remote data centre in order to reduce risk of a data centre failure. Moreover my solution kept the two sites synchronised. This was a major project which was part of the Black Building workstream of the society.
