DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible for Project Definition, process management, documentation (project plans & Issues/Risks/Actions registers including joint working plans with suppliers) and resource allocation • Responsible for safe delivery of Projects to schedule and within budget • Maintaining tight budget controls • Manage Project teams from Project initiation through to Project completion (Go Live and BAU handover) • Working with design teams to secure stakeholder sign-off at all stages • Producing comprehensive project plans and communicating the details to the customers and technical resourced. This is achieved using Gantt charts, timelines, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) often to virtual teams across the country and worldwide. • Manage key stakeholder expectations • Often managing teams of up to 50+ members • Scheduling tasks and obtaining the correct resources including 3rd parties and external procurement • Maintaining control of the delivery throughout the project, identifying and managing risks and issues as they are recognised • Providing leadership and mentoring to Project teams and clients • Maintaining customer relationships to achieve long-term retention & satisfaction • Reporting Project progress to Project sponsors, Programme Director & stakeholders • Ensuring comprehensive handover into BAU for ongoing support
